I was raised in Ridgetown Ontario, where I apprenticed in watchmaking, clock, and jewellery repairs for five years. Having a great love for the jewellery business, I moved to Strathroy at the age of 21 to establish James O. Poag Jewellers Ltd.

The business started out as a smaller store with both china and jewellery. From the day I opened the business I have always carried quality merchandise at reasonable prices. I also made sure that each line consisted of items in all price ranges.

After 40 years, I am proud to be joined by my two sons, who now own and operate our business. My family and staff are pleased to provide you with informed and dedicated assistance. We truly care that our customers are pleased with their purchases and our service.
