Claude Thibaudeau
Claude Thibaudeau is an award winning jewellery designer from Montreal who creates beautiful and intricate pieces of art. Claude started down the path of becoming a jewellery designer at a very young age; he would head down to the family workshop and observe the wonderful work and designs being created. Claude’s great grandfather Ulrich Thibaudeau opened up the family business in 1872 and has been a family tradition since.
By the age of 16 Claude was already an experienced gem setter; by the age of 25 he had begun manufacturing his first collection in his basement at home. With the help of his wife and younger brother, he began to travel throughout Canada to promote his stunning and unique designs.
Not long afterwards, many doors began to open for the young jewellery craftsman; he began attending jewellery shows throughout the United States and Europe. In 1995, Claude and his brother Marc were honored to accept the la Griffe D’or award, an honour which is given to the best new jewellery designer of the year.
Claude and Marc now have a world renowned business, with the jewellery being showcased in boutiques and jewellery stores in Canada, the United Stated and Europe. The business has expanded to many new levels and he has had the ability to launch many original and unique designs, including "The Inseparables" and the "European Micro Pave" collection.
All pieces are designed and created in platinum and 18K with the finest craftsmanship and as well the finest quality stones.
Sherris Cottier Shank

Sherris Cottier Shank is a master gem stone carver and artist; she creates beautiful fluid and graceful sculptures from the most unique of gemstones.
She began her career as a goldsmith, working for a high end jewellery store in Michigan. One day she came upon an article in “Metalsmith” magazine that changed her life. The article was written by another famous gem carver and it inspired her to change her path in life. She began experimenting with different techniques and materials and in 1988 she opened her own gem carving studio “ Gemscapes”.
She creates sculptures that are interesting from every angle and that capture your attention. Since 1991, Sherris has won seven Cutting Edge awards – an accolade that honors the creativity of lapidary art. Her success comes as a result of her multitude of abilities, the way she can carve an aesthetically exciting organic piece of art, as well as her jeweller’s ability to find excellent quality rough and transform it into a design that showcases its beauty but also keeps the ease of setting of the stone in mind.

Sherris recently returned to the gemstone world after a two year hiatus; during her time off she traveled to Tanzania and was moved by the wildlife and the people there. Her newest line of gemstones are all inspired by that experience and all the stones used were mined there.
